Effort doesn’t pay, results do!

Over the months we have mapped out the success stories of various individuals, who started off not much different from you and I. We hope that you have drawn one common thread, realising: “Those who have succeeded didn’t do so because they tried, but because they endured.”

Over the month’s we have brought you our tools of inspiration through mapping out the success stories of various individuals, who started off not much different from you and I. Throughout this course we have hoped that you would draw one common thread, realising: ” those who have succeeded didn’t do so because they tried, but because they endured. ”

The 20 years of freedom celebrations come at time which serves as a reminder of not only our rich history, but as a tale, passed on from generation to another, of what patience, hard work, sacrifice can yield.

Many entrepreneurs seek success, and give up too easily to find it. Truth is, you have to hold on to what you have, your belief in yourself. Yes there are trials, yes you are hungry, but if :

William Gates III, Microsoft
Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway
Carlos Slim Helu, telecom
Ingvar Kamprad and family, Ikea
Lakshmi Mittal, steel
Sheldon Adelson, casinos, hotels
Bernard Arnault, LVMH
Amancio Ortega, , Zara
Li Ka-shing, Hong Kong,  diversified
Lawrence Ellison, California, Oracle
Liliane Bettencourt, L’Oreal
Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Alsaud, investments
Mukesh Ambani, petrochemicals
Karl Albrecht, Germany, Aldi
Roman Abramovich, oil
Stefan Persson, Hennes & Mauritz
Anil Ambani, diversified
Paul Allen, Microsoft, investments
Theo Albrecht, Germany, Aldi, Trader Joe’s
Azim Premji, software
Lee Shau Kee , real estate
Jim Walton, Arkansas, Wal-Mart
Sergey Brin, Google
Michael Dell, Dell
Jack Taylor and family, Enterprise Rent-A-Car

…could do it, then so can you.

At times you could feel disheartened, and quite frankly tired, but its pointless taking a break now, when you are so close. Consider your life like this: 1. success is inevitable, so take the necessary steps that will aid you in your journey. 2. make wise decisions, your journey doesn’t have to be characterised by its similarities to the difficulties Nelson Mandela’s long walk to freedom. his walk was long because it was the only way to ensure his dreams and those of other’s were visualised. Consider your options, and take the best possible way. 3. You are what you think. No man ever won a race expecting to fail.
