Terms and Conditions:

General:

1. Attendance at ALIYANA magazines events is subject to availability. It is on a first-come; first-serve basis. If stated, subscribers will receive priority booking.
   To secure your seat, proof of payment is required. You would be required to activate your ticket online, after which, you will receive a confirmation email from ALIYANA magazine.
2. Cancellation may be done 3 to 5 days prior to event, after which you will not be refunded for your admission fee.
   ALIYANA holds the right at their discretion to cancel any event, and refund the amounts which have already been paid.
3. Details pertaining to the event, such as time and venue may be subject to change.
   Rights of admission to events are reserved. The decision to accept or decline any applicant is final. No correspondent will be entered into.
4. ALIYANA magazine, its partners and associates will not be held accountable for any losses, damage or injuries incurred by guest(s) and/or their property on the day of the event.

Comment and Subscription Guidelines:

1. We ask that all users to exercise civil disagreement, and not to post unacceptable content.
2. ALIYANA magazine  not publish any acceptable content.
3. Unacceptable content includes but is not limited to the following:
   Posts which may contain hate speech, discrimination, racism, or that are libelous, defamatory and deliberately false, or that knowingly misrepresents another person.
   Writings that include swear words or any insensitive/derogatory language.
4. Posts, mails or behavior that constitutes stalking, harassment or abuse, or that is perceived as threatening towards any person.
5. Anything that is in breach of someone else’s copyright, trademark, trade secret or patent, or the disclosure of information that is bound by a confidentiality agreement or obligation. If you quote someone in your post, it’s up to you to credit the quote’s original author.
6. Anything that contains information that’s been commissioned and paid for by someone else, and/or contains paid-for advertising links, or SPAM, which includes anything that’s completely random, annoying and unrelated to any of the discussions across all sections

Competition:

1. Competitions are opened to everyone except the employees of ALIYANA magazine, ZAYBIZ web development, promotional partners, family members and any associates.
2. All recipients agree to act in a manner which abides by these terms and conditions.
3. The judge’s decision is final; no correspondents will be entered after.
4. Prizes are non-transferable. They may not be exchanged for cash.
5. ALIYANA magazine, our competition partner/s and their respective shareholders shall not be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage, injury or costs, howsoever arising, suffered due to this competition.
6. ALIYANA magazine reserve the right to cancel the competition without notice at any time, if deemed necessary in their opinion, or if unforeseen circumstances arise outside of their control. In the event of such cancellation, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse against ALYANA magazine, its employees, agents, partners, sponsors or promoters.
7. Competitions are only opened to South African residents for the time being.
   Winners of competitions may be required to be photographed for publicity purposes.
