THE PROPOSAL

- 18 Aug 2009

I personally would suggest that we ignore the underlying fact that The Proposal is one big cliché. After all, Predictable rom-coms can work if the comedy and chemistry are there!!

The crisis has caused many to scale down on shopping but fact is that people will always need clothes. Some designers, Marion & Lindie to name a few, are cutting down prices for up to 50% on their new arrivals and those who have always dreamed but could not afford now can.

LOVE AMONG THE DAMNED

- 28 Jul 2009

Wuthering Heights encapsulates the devastating effects of an obsessive and all-encompassing yet unresolved love between a man and woman. This month I decided to review a novel that, I believe, best deals with the issues young women who dream of making a name for themselves face.

17 Again

- 14 May 2009

‘17 Again’, fairly well written, hilarious, well and sometimes greatly acted and awesome direction for the most part, and a genuinely good, enjoyable and moving film. Take a look and you’ll probably be surprised… but don’t go in hoping for anything Oscar worthy. I get the impression there is only so much a director can do with a film like ‘17 Again’ and he did it alright.
